    Strengthen the knee! This is vital, also proprioception training (basically balance i.e using wobble/rocker boards/cushions) to make sure your knee is as strong as possible to avoid reoccurance.

    Obviously I don't really know at what stage you are at, but as with all rehab exercises, take it slowly, gradually build up and stop and go back a step if you feel any pain.

    I have also dislocated my knee and have since returned to playing netball. I was given a brace to wear to decrease the chances of dislocating it again. Its been very good so far!
    Also as said above make sure the muscles around the knee are strong before starting sport again - if its dislocated once it will now be easier to do again.
