hi, first time poster and reader (just found the site tonight)

my knee history as follows,

i have had 2 arthroscopies on my right knee, first one in late 2001 for torn meniscus and second in mid 2002 for another torn meniscus. i re done my knee again around late 2003 again and i had to wait a while to get an mri, which showed more cartiliage damage and pcl damge.

i was told to rest it and let the cartiliage scar tissue up in my knee and not to play footy again (aussie rules football). i have been having trouble on and off since 2003 and finally thought to get another opinion, i had a mri last friday. i scene the surgeon today, who told me that the latest mri has shown pcl and acl damage. he was surpised by this, as my knee had no movement what so ever and only thought that there was cartiliage damage (due to my history).

He has booked me in for another arthroscopy, to give it a clean out and access the damage to the acl/pcl. i only wish that i got the second opinion 4 year ago.
