    Default knee side movement

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my knee issue
About 8 months ago i was playing soccer and the keeper fell into the side of my knee, causing it to buckle. After the injury my knee felt very loose and would move side to side slighty. There was no swelling.
I waited about 3 weeks (until there was no more pain) to start playing. Ever since then whenever i play i feel like the knee is moving side to side a bit (with no pain)
Will this heal? what can i do to speed up the process?
and should I wear a new brace when i play?

    - Thanks for the help,
    Denis

    Hi
Possibly a ligament sprain of the MCL (if pain is on the inside of the knee joint) or the LCL (if on outside).
This can leave the knee feeling unstable.
Generally strengthening the quads and hamstrings will help to stabilise the knee joint.
A knee support can be worn for peace of mind, although you wouldn't be allowed anything which has exposed solid parts. The best you could go for is the LP709a on return2fitness.co.uk
