    Default MCL Injury

Around 30 weeks ago I suffered a grade 3 MCL injury by hyperextending. Since then I have been in physiotherapy. The physio said I was fit 16 weeks later, however after running I felt it go again. My physio told me to seek medical help however my hospital told me it's the same injury and to seek a physio.
My knee feels a lot stabler and can pass, tackle and shoot. However I have a very painful medial to front pain on my knee. Anytime I turn to my left, medially ( right knee) it goes again?

Any ideas what I should do or is it more than MCL?

Did the hospital do a scan of any sort which proved it is MCL injury alone?
If they did, great, but maybe seek a different physio for a second opinion on treatment.
If they didn't, you should possibly try to get one. This can be easier said than done. Either go back to your Doctor, or again try another physio who can refer you.

I don't know what treatment the physio gave you, but I take it you have done lots of strengthening and balance work?

Another option is a knee support or brace.
