My left knee has been giving me problems for years. Till recently, i decided to let a ortho specialist take a look at it, who suggest me to go for a MRI.
The clinical diagnosis is meniscus tear by my specialist
The MRI report by the radiologist states negative for meniscal or ligamentous tear.
Instead, according to the report, he discovered a 1.6 x 1 x 1.4 cm well defined cystic lesion within the intercondylar region, located just posterior to the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments. It appears thinly septated. This is suggestive of a ganglion cyst. An encysted joint fluid collection is less likely, given that there is no significant joint effusion.
I have not pass this report to my specialist until two weeks later. I just want to find out firsthand what the hell is the MRI report talking about.
Anyone care to help?
