Hey Guys thanks for reading any help would be much apreciated,

Injured my Left knee at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 2 weeks ago I remember landing on my knee quite hard while it was bent, I just thought I had knocked
it at the time but any atempt to kneel on it afterwords gave me VERY sharp pains around my patella.

Its 14 days on now and the pain is till present on kneeling I still have full range of motion - pain free - and no swelling/bruising. stairs are fine up and down.

I have pain on my patella if i put any pressure on the specific area whether it is in extension or flexion. its very localized and only on a small part of the patella (Middle to left)

I have dislocated my patella on 3 occasions but have recovered well with no real ligament damage.
My girlfriend is a physio and she and her senior haven't seen this before and say I have very conflicting symptoms and ruled out all the common patella problems.

An MRI is unlikely on the NHS and I have a fire service entry medical coming up and dont want it on my medical record anyway.

I'm really looking for someone with similiar symptoms and what they've managed to find out
