    Default Osgood Schlatters Disease

Been looking at supports for my sons injury to try and let him play on in his soccer team but so many on the market. Does anyone have any experience in what might be effective and where to get it, at a reasonable price of course.

    Hi Beamer,

Have you been advised my your doctor/consultant that your son is cleared to return to sport? Just that in many cases they prefer to hold off until the child has stopped growing to prevent worsening of the condition.

If you're looking for a patella strap this one should suffice: http://www.return2fitness.co.uk/Supports_And_Braces/Knee_Supports/jumpknee414 although as you mentioned there are many on the market.

I hope this is of some help! Please let us know how you get on!

Thanks for your amazingly prompt reply. No he needs to see a physio first but was getting a little ahead of myself. So you think just the simple strap will be fine ?
Ive seen a medicinal product by OSCON that claims to reduce recovery time as well. Have you heard of it and if so whats your opinion ?
