Default pain in knee when kneeing on it

    Hi

two problem, this one in here and in the other in foot pain.

    My knee issue.
The last year or so when I placed my left knee on the floor to do such tasks as tying shoe laces or turning electrical plus in the house I would get a sharp shooting pain in the knee which would force me to jump up. There is no pain to touch it on a daily basis and i have been doing some intense running and it seems fine apart from the odd dull ache after the run.

The problem is when I apply pressure on it i.e kneeing on it.

    Any ideas?

    Hi

Could be some minor damage to the cartilage covering the back of the knee cap:

This is common in runners who also get aching following exercise. Its related to patellofemoral pain syndrome:

There are lots of ideas on these two pages for treatment.

As for the foot, it could be tight calves and fascia etc. Have you got the right trainers for someone with a high arch?

If I were you, as there are 2 problems, I would go see that osteo!
