    Question Soft Painless Lump

yesterday i did a leg conditioning workout which involved alot of jumping, after i finished the my workout i sat down and noticed i lump on the right side of my knee. the lump is soft and is painless. this morning i woke to find the lump was still the same size, but i have just come back from football training (soccer) and the lump has doubled in size but still with no pain.

can anybody give me some advice on what i should do about it and can somebody tell me what it is please ?

im worried i could be doing more damage still training on it, ive searched online and couldnt find anything on it

    thanks for your time

Is it swelling - i.e. fluid filled?
If it increases I guess it is.
Generally if it is not painful and doesn't cause any problems then I wouldn't worry too much.
But if you are concerned, it is worth a trip to your Doctor
