    Unhappy Torn Lcl,pcl And Acl

I have been to several doctors and I get the same answer, according to the MRI it shows that I have several torn ligaments but I still haven't got an answer as to why I have such severe pain down along my shin bone all the way to my ankle. I have surgery scheduled for OCT.20th but only to fix the torn ligaments in the front at my knee cap. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I have such pain in that area. Thanks

    Hi,

It could be a case of the injuries from the knee are referring pain down the leg. If there was any nerve damage, compression or irritation in the knee (which is possibly given the extent of your injuries) it can cause pain to radiate down the leg and even muscle spasm and eventual weakening.

This is only one possibility. But I would have your surgery and see if this helps the situation at all
