    Unhappy Dead Leg (leg Contusion)

Good Day, I'm a 19 year old Rugby player and I have received 3 in 3 years Grade 3 Dead legs, causing severe pain and loss of fitness and strength.

It is always in my right quad and I have never had a problem with my left?

What can I do to prevent it happening, is it a case of strengthening the muscle more.

Have been for all the scans.

    Hi,
Yes, once you have regained full range of motion following a contusion it is important to start to strengthen it again as the injury will probably have caused considerable weakening, especially if this is a common injury.
I would suggest seeing a sports injury professional or at least a fitness trainer who can give you a good, progressive strengthening program.
