    Default Hamstring trouble!!!

I run track and I heard a pop in my left leg in my hamstring... near the bottom left of my leg is where I felt it Im not really sure if I pulled it or not. I have been doing leg curls and stretching and I have my strength and flexiblity back. I can jog fine with no problem but when I try to sprint I can't fully extend my leg without it hurting. I would say its a 5 on a scale of 1-10. Also I dont know what you call them but the two things on the back of your leg that lead into the back of your knee you can feel poke out when you bend your leg...well the one on the left is where i feel the pain.

    Hi
I think you are talking about the hamstring tendons, and more specifically the biceps femoris muscle:

You probably experienced a tear in this muscle. You have done the right thing to improve the flexibility and strength. Pain on sprinting is common with this injury as the hamstrings are used extensively in sprinting.

I would personally try some sports massage to see if there is any scar tissue in the muscle. This may be the source of your pain. Sports massage can break this down and also continue to stretch the muscle out and improve its overall condition.
