Default How to avoid the thigh pain when running?

It is such a drag that I have enough stamina but the pain is limiting me to continue on with running/sprinting. Is this due to lack of stretching? What stretches should be done? The pain is at the upper thigh and the middle. Starts hurting when I try to sprint. Any tips

    Hi
It might be a muscle tear or injury, or it might be a referred pain. If stretching and massage don't help then you should seek further help to see if it could be referred from the lower back.
    Visit this page:

and scroll down to the thigh stretches. The quadriceps and hip flexor stretches should be helpful if its a muscle injury.
