Thread: numbness in thigh

    Default numbness in thigh

I was playing soccer five days ago. As I ran I felt a pull in my upper thigh (as if I had been shot with a pellet). It was sore for a couple of days but now it seems to be numb. Should I be worried about this?

Numbness can be an indication of neural damage. But it may also just be a case of the muscle damage causing swelling or bleeding in the area which has compressed th nerve.

I'd give it a couple more days and then if it isn't improving, go to your Doctor.
