I pulled my hamstring in my right leg on July 30th. I was at a soccer tournament and i was playing and felt a sharp pain/pull at the end of the game. I had soreness afterwards, but i had a long ride home. After the tournament we had a break for about a week. I went to go to another game after the week break of no activity, and felt fine until i started running/kicking the ball and other fast/hard movements. I told my coach to take me out of that game because i was in pain. I ended up taking a break from soccer for about 2 weeks. Then high school captains practices started, and i attempted to go at those. That is when i knew i had pulled my hamstring. I went to 4-5 captains practices and took it easy, but still felt a sharp pain in the back of my leg when doing fast/hard movements. Well now i have been going to Physical therapy for 3 weeks, and chiropractor for 2 weeks. I have been to PT a total of 6 times, and chiropractor 3 times. At PT i do strengthing exercises, ice/heat with stim, ultrasound, massage, stretching, and at chiropractor involves stretching, and heat and stim, and body alignment. I am in a rush to play high school soccer, since i am a starter and am needed. The season officially starts this friday am and i frantically trying to get better. Last friday was my first attempt after a little over 3 weeks break, and i was doing fine until i had to reach for a trap and i felt it, after that i felt it in most movements, and i sat out and it was very sore. My coach is getting angry and i need to come back asap since i really dont want to miss any high school games, and i want to start.
I forgot to add the chiropractor said i might have tendonitis, and PT thinks i have a pulled hamstring, i could have both, and would really like to know whats going on.
Please help.
ask any questions about pains, and what i am doing. Thanks.
