Question Thigh pain 6 hours post excersise.

    Hi guys.

I'm kind of new to this excersise thing, but am trying to build up my fitness. Unfortunatly i seem to be plagued by ill health and injury..... I have recurrent neck pain, i'm a nurse too so poor posture and moving/lifting tecniques have done my body no justice.
I have seen a wonderful sports massager who seems to of sorted that out. However after a 3k run on the treadmill I have developed pain in both of my upper quads. It gets worse on standing and when walking up and down stairs. Becomes more comfortable the more I walk on it (but cant walk great distances) my legs also feel weak and very wobbly at times, like i am unable to hold my weight. Is there anything i can do to help this get better? or to prevent it in the future? I cant take nsaids.

Stretch and strengthen the quads and hip flexors. Massage to these muscle should also help
