I took Heidi's advice and dug my foam roller out of my closet to use on my hip. After one week of self treatment plus visits to my Chiro, I have much less pain. My ITB and Iliopsoas are still wicked tight, but my pain is more manageable. If you have pain of any kind could self myofascial release with a foam roller be the solution? I certainly hope so because it's easy to use and it costs a lot less than seeing the doc or surgery.
