    Default Hip groin problem

    Hi,
recently (over 2 years ) I've played golf regularly.I've been bothered by lower back-hip pain, gradually getting more painful.Been to sports masseur and he suggested it may be Piriformis Syndrome.I get get discomfort in my groin and front thigh area, sometimes my knee as well as my pain in the butt. Now I'm getting loud cracking noises from outside my hip down to my knee, but no pain from this.any suggestions ?

Doesn't sound like a typical piriformis syndrome to me. This usually only causes pain in the buttock and back of the leg.
I think you need to see someone who can properly assess the injury such as a physio
