    Default hip and groin problems

I have a son that has played a high level of hockey and had developed a groin, hip and flexibility issues. This had started at a young age of 14 and with the high intensity of hockey it seems to have gotten worse as the older he got and the higher level of hockey that he had played. As a result of the threshold of pain, he has had to give up his passion of hockey, however, it has carried forward into his every day life as he is now in the workforce and is finding it difficult to maintain a normal working environment. These are the things that we have done to try and resolve this issue, but not results have been accomplished. Any ideas as to what the next step would be?
    - chiropractic therapy twice a week for 3 years
    - physio therapy weekly ongoing
-Xray and blood work have been determined to be normal
    -Atlas bone chiropractic therapy
-Has seen 2 sports doctors (1 of the doctors says he has the flexibilty of an eighty year old-he is 19) the other doctor did a corisone shot in the pelvis area and no results came of it
-ART therapy does not seem to make things better, but does not make it worse
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I have researched a few conditions of ilio-inguinal and ilio-hypograstic nerve compression injuries. surprisingly it is common in hockey players. just google the above to review. let me know if you need more direction as I am a chiropractor and have a similar issue.
