    Default Locking of groin

    Hi All

Hoping you can help with the below before i go to see my GP etc....

Around September i felt a groin strain during an MMA session, i carried on but it kept locking up during it....i snapped a toe ligament so didnt take part for the next few months but since new year i have had a few training sessions and its getting worse.

Even if i get out of the car it can lock up and i physically have to pick my leg up and move it to get it to go back in!! never had it like it before the pain starts just above the groin but eventually through training it ends up in the groin and strains....

just wondering if anyone has experiance of this? should i see the GP as i cant shift it and its starting to impede other things etc....

    Thanks guys

    Rob

If the pain starts above the groin then I doubt it is a simple groin strain so yes you should go to your GP, or even better a sports injury specialist
