    Default Sartorius/Tailor muscle

    Hi Sports injury clinic!

In late spring last year I injuried what we think is my Sartorius muscle. All along we thought it was my groin because thats were it hurts. For about 2-3 months I performed intense rehab traning without any result, the traning focused on my groin and deep stomach muscles. Without any progress i lost my motivation and didn't exercise for about 3 more months.

Two days ago i was told that it probably was my sartorius muscle and that i should gradually increase the intensity of the traning. She gave me the same exercises i've done before which led to no result.

Do you have any tips about my situation? My computer at home is out of order so i've just quickly composed this post at school. I might very well have forgotten to mention something.

    All the best// Nicholas

I'll try to explain how i got the injury. I was playing soccer and i went in to challange a opposition with the ball. He cleared and I'd already stretched out the inside of my left leg towards the ball. He followed through with full force causing my knee to bend in a awkward way. Since then i havent had any knee problems only in the groin area.

    Hi

How do you know its the Sartorius? Just that this is quite an unusual muscle to injure.
Have you had any therapeutic treatment, such as massage....ultrasound etc?
This is what I would try if not already.

    We've used laser treatment.
We cant provoke the injury exept when i sit in the tailor position aswell as leaning back hence streching the sartorius muscle.
