    Unhappy Sons hip pain mystery

My son got injured while practicing football this summer. He didnt know if it happned while he was lifting or running. But he has been to the Doctors twice and had an MRI and no conclusion yet, and it is still going on.
He has dull pain over his right hip going into the lower right quadrant of his abdominals and into the very top crevice of his leg/groin area. He does not exactly match the description of a sprain or strain. He has laid off practicing and conditioning and he had a game this weekend and played (QB) and got hit in the lower area and it is sore again. There is no hernia or apendicitis. I dont know what to do and the doctors here in the Springs are retarded by my opinion. They think it is just ok. Any therapist out the that can tell me other things to check would be wonderful, the doctors in the ER diagnosed him with siatica but MRI said no siatica. I think he might of torn a muscle but doctors say no there too. Any opinions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Have a look at our pages on gilmores groin. This would be my initial thought from hearing his symptoms:
