    Default sports injury help

I've been hurtings for about three months now. I originally pulled a quad muscle on the groin side of my quad. It was sore and bruised up a little so I let it rest for about three to four weeks and played on it and pulled it again this time worse. Since then its been about three months of resting and rehab but it keeps bruising up. I've been doing about 7 weeks of pt and now I'm back in the same place. I got an MRI of the hip and upper theigh and there was nothing torn or out of the ordinary. The pain now though doesn't feel like a normal pull a sore feeling. Its more of a sharp feeling that almost tingles when I do something it doesn't like. Again its in the inner side of the quad and I've have bruising ranging from the hip to the top of the knee. I'm not sure what I should do.

    Thanks

    Hi
Who have you seen about this?
I am surprised that an MRI of the hip and thigh showed nothing. The bruising you describe is quite typical of a moderate to severe quad or groin strain.
    What rehabilitation have you done?

I've been doing PT on the area but it continues to feel weak/ I can still feel tingling in my in the muscle near the knee. The bruising runs down the inside side of the leg to the knee. The most bruised spot is the middle of that area. I got an MRI of the hip and the upper half of the quad. Im seeing an orthopedist that does sports medicine. He's been putting me on anti inflammatories and PT but it still bruises up. Im going to go back but it takes a while to get appointments. I've gone to him before and he's fixed me up.
