I was walking this morning, and after a minute or so, I felt a sharp pain around the area between groin and hip, on the 'V' part where you leg joins. And found walking uncomfortable, and became increasingly uncomfortable. Sitting hasnt seemed to ease the pain. I am getting a few pains in the area just on the leg, and it feels tingly and almost a bit 'dead' when sitting.
I had a bit of tingling feeling yesterday, and almost felt a bit like burning at night (was staying in a hotel). I have had twitches in the muscles around the front and back the leg since yesterday too.
Ice has not helped. I thought it may be a hip flexor or groin strain, but this doesnt really feel like the muscles as much (not tender, just the pain / feelings restricting movement, not muscle restriction). Adducting the leg seems to cause a little bit of pain (only a few cms), but is followed by tingling in the area.
I done some foam roller, dynamic stretches and very lightweight lower body & core exercises on Friday.
This leg is also 2-3mm shorter, and since September 08 I have had a heel lift (orthotics). I have been finding that It does cause put some pressure on the nerves in my hips and back, and my spine seems to be returning to a normal shape (had a very slight 'C', as my weight was on left side). But I havent had it this bad, and its not usually on my left side.
If it doesnt improve tomorrow, then I plan to see someone. Probably doctors if its still this level of discomfort.
Is it possible its pressure on a nerve?
Thank you
