Default Pain where Hamstring and Glute meet

10 days ago whilst doing an assisted Hamstring stretch I felt and heard a loud pop from the top of my Right Hamstring and bottom of Right butt cheek. I now have pain around the mentioned areas on my right leg. It hurts when I am seated for a long time and when I bend from my hips (try and touch toes) I can walk with only a small amount of pain. The pop was so loud I thought I’d done some serious damage? Needless to say after the pop my partner was able to increase the distance he stretched my Hamstring/Leg. Any ideas?

May have been a tear in the muscle.
Continue to rest from sport, stretch gently if its not painful and alternate hot and cold treatments - 5 minutes of each for 20 minutes 3 times a day.
Pain should ease soon, if not speak to a professional
