In october, during one of my soccer games, I planted my left leg, pushed off and started sprinting. When i did that, I felt something "pop" in my knee. It didn't hurt exactly at that moment, but my knee felt somewhat weaker. It was painful in the weeks after and was swollen and red. Someone told me I might have torn my meniscus, but when I went to see an orthopedic doctor he said taht everything structurally was fine and taht I injured my plica. I've been doing physical therapy for about a month, and it helped, but when I went back to soccer and running, my knee began to hurt and swelled up a little, but only after I was done playing. Is it normal for my knee to start hurting now that I've started playing soccer again? ALso, I feel a clicking in my knee when I bend it during my physical therapy exercises. Again, is this normal? Could it be that I have, in fact, torn my meniscus?

Thanks so much!
