Default Tennis/Golf Elbow

Hello, over the last 10 months or so I have had alternating pain on the inside and outside of the elbow. I am now trying wrist curls to help it, but so far no luck. I tried a stress ball to stregnthen my grip. I work out with weights two times a week, but no power lifting. I do two chest, 2 back excercises and some shoulder and legs as well. Since I have had this problem I have stayed away from excercises that isolate the biceps and tripceps. I also like to shoot baskets in case that may be related. I do try the palm againts the wall stretches and it temporaily helps. Any advice?

Hi

It could be tennis elbow/golfers elbow, but it is very unlikely to get symptoms of both at the same time.

My suggestion is that you may have a trapped nerve somewhere higher up. For example the neck. Do you ever get any tingling/numbness/weakness/coldness in the arm/hand?

This would explain why even rest from exercises using the wrist/elbow isn't helping. Are there any sore areas around the elbow to touch? Does the muscle feel tender?

I actually dont have those symptoms you mentioned. It is very perplexing. It does seem to get worse with stress sometimes. I worked out two days ago, fairly lightly and it seems to be ok for the moment. When I put my hands in front of me extended like I am washing my hands and push my palms together and bring them slowly in that causes pain on the outside of the elbow.
