Hi
I think it is worth getting it checked out by a suitable professional. Try your Doctor first and if not, try a physio. I'm afraid I can't really give you any idea what could be going on without assessing you as the hip joint is very complex. Strengthening the muscles surrounding the hip may help, provided this is not painful?
