He has her doing deep water running and dryland running of 5 minutes at a time with several minutes rest. My concern is that this doesn't seem to be helping, nor does it assess or address causation. Any thoughts? |

Hi
Has the athlete had any other treatment? Therapeutic ultrasound/massage/a thorough stretching program for example? I would have said these are going to be important factors in the recovery of the athlete. She won't recover fully by just limiting her training for a while! When you start to increase the training the underlying causes will still be there, whether it be biomechanical, muscle imbalances etc Heidi |
