Unhappy Persistent groin pain turned severe

I have injured my groin a year ago and it has taken 6 months to recover & it is still a little delicate. I also have a bad back and siatica which i am trying to fix so have been to physio and doing stretching and micro core strengthening off and on. i noticed after walking 6 blocks it started to ache (still had to come one the other 6 but with a little limp) - that was 2 day ago.

today i was shopping on and off walking for about 2 hours and than to a movie where i had severe and sudden pain in my groin in the theatre. I thought maybe my leg went to sleep as it was uncomfortable. I left the theater limping with severe pain, by the time i got home it was better. i have iced and used heat on it tonight.

I have had 2 hernias before (I am female) - last one was a femoral hernia 8 yrs ago and the other one was 21 yrs ago (not sure which one it is).

any ideas on this? the general groin pain has been going on for so long and i want to get my back better as we are adopting a child from china in 2 months ...

I think the groin pain may be associated with the sciatica. Get your physio to check it out. Groin pain doesn't normally just come on, especially aggravated by sitting down for a couple of hours!

It may be a postural problem?
