Log-in Problems

Why am I asked for log-in details to look at some pages?

Sportsinjuryclinic.net is a subscription site. This means that to view the full site requires a subscription. These are available over a 3 month, or 12 month period and allow you access to full content including rehabilitation techniques, strapping and taping methods and sports massage demonstrations.

Why can't I log-in to my account ?

If you are experiencing problems logging in please firstly check that you are using the email address and password that you used when you first subscribed. If you still cannot log-in, please e-mail us with your name and log-in details. Alternatively, phone us between 9 and 5 monday to friday (UK - GMT).

I've forgotten my password

  • Your username is the email address you used to sign up with. If you have forgotten your password please email us at support@sportsinjuryclinic.net with the email address you used to sign up as well as your full name and we will get back to you with your password as soon as possible.

Why am I am being told I am already logged in?

This may happen for a number of reasons....

  • If you have closed a browser window without logging out and try to login again..............then the site will automatically shut you out for 30 minutes. This is done to stop multiple logins on the same account. Either wait 30 minutes and try again or if this does not work then email us and we will clear your account manually.
  • The most common mistake is having cookies security level set too high. You can check this by clicking on the link below:

    http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/login/check_sessions.php

  • If cookies settings need to be changed this is done by:
    • Internet Explorer - tools > internet options > privacy and make sure cookies are set to medium or lower.
    • Netscape 8 - in Netscape 8 in site controls it needs to be set to allow cookies from originating sites.
    • For Opera it's tools > preferences > advanced > cookies > accept all normal cookies.
    • For firefox it's tools > options > privacy > allow sites to set cookies

Re-subscription Problems

How do I re-subscribe?

When your subscription is due to expire you will be sent an e-mail to remind you. All you need to do is log-in as normal and then go to your account page (there is a link to this page in the subscribers box in the far left column of every page). From your account page there is a link saying 'if you would like to extend your subscription click here'. Follow this link to extend your subscription.

If your subscription has already expired, you can still log-in as usual, but you will be taken directly to your accounts page where you will be able to re-subscribe.

Do I have to subscribe for the same amount of time as last time?

No. If last time you subscribed for 3 months, it is possible to then re-subscribe for 12 months or vice versa. You can choose how long to subscribe for before you get to the payment pages.

Forum Questions

Why do I have to register for the forum separately?

The reason we have introduced a separate registration for the forum is to prevent inappropriate posts. Registration for the forum is free

How do I register for the forum?

To register for the forum please click on the 'register' link underneath where it says 'The Virtual Sports Injury Clinic Forums'. Read the terms and conditions and if you are happy, please tick the box and proceed to register. Add your details including a username, password and email address. Please be aware that due to the need to moderate each registration it may take up to 3 days before your registration is activated. You will receive an e-mail once this is done.

Clinic Advertisments

How much does it cost to advertise my clinic?

Nothing! We no longer charge for clinic advertisements on sportsinjuryclinic.net. If you have previously placed an advert with a yearly charge, please contact us and we will cancel any future payments.

I have added my clinic advert but it doesn't appear on the site

When new clinic details are added these must be moderated before being placed on the site. This prevents any inappropriate adverts! Your advert should be live within 3 days.

Why did my clinic advert disappear after I amended it?

When an existing clinic advert is amended, the details must be moderated again. For this reason the advert will be taken off the site until this is done. This can take up to 3 days.

Video Content

Why can't I view any of the video content?

If you are having difficulty viewing video content, please try the following:

  • Ensure that you have the latest versions of both quicktime and flash players (the tutorials will not run on older versions)
  • Download Quicktime player here

I have downloaded an ebook and cannot access it
