Medicine Ball Reverse Crunch
The reverse crunch involves raising the hips and pelvis off the floor, rather than the head and shoulders. This works the lower abs. Adding a medicine ball increases the resistance.
Teaching points
- Lay on your back on the floor with the knees bent.
- Hold a small medicine ball inbetween your knees and place your arms on the floor out to the sides.
- Keep your knees bent as you raise your buttocks off the floor.
- Return to the starting position.
