Here we demonstrate wrist assessment tests including Phalen’s, Tinel’s sign and TFCC tear diagnosis.
Phalen’s Test
Phalen’s test is used to help diagnose Carpal tunnel syndrome and nerve entrapment within the wrist.
Tinel’s sign
Tinel’s test is used to help diagnose wrist injuries where the median nerve is involved. A positive result will reproduce symptoms such as parasthesia (numbness), tingling and pins and needles.
